The Caribu Free Plan works by allowing users to access our library and Magical Caribu Calls through earning credits! Credits can be earned by watching short, kids-safe ads, and can be used to read a book or enjoy an activity. With the Caribu Free Plan you're given a set number of credits. Each credit opens a book or activity but does not apply to premium content. You can watch ads to earn more credits.
If you're on a Caribu call with someone and read a book together, that will count as one credit for each of you. If you open the book to the preview page, you can read the description of the book without using a credit. If you click the "read by myself" to read the book or if you read a book while on a call with someone, that will count as a credit. If you want unlimited books and activities and premium content with your friends and family, you can upgrade to Caribu Unlimited at any time!
